West Region Updates
As of Jan. 1, 2025, TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TriWest) is the regional contractor for the TRICARE West Region. Visit www.tricare.mil/west to learn more and for any questions about your current TRICARE plan or getting care in 2025.
HNFS Claims Support Ended April 30, 2025

Authorizations
TriWest will accept referrals and pre-authorizations from HNFS that were issued prior to Jan. 1, 2025. These will be valid through their expiration or June 30, 2025, whichever comes first. TriWest will accept referrals under the Autism Care Demonstration through the expiration date.
HNFS can no longer update or adjust any referrals or pre-authorizations. You must contact TriWest for assistance.
Claims submission
As of May 1, 2025, HNFS can no longer accept claims or claim adjustments for services rendered prior to Jan. 1, 2025.
For claims submitted to us by April 30, 2025, access our Check Claims Status tool through June 30, 2025.
