Buckley Prime Service Area (PSA) Pilot

On. Jan. 1, 2021, Health Net Federal Services, LLC (HNFS), partnering with the Defense Health Agency (DHA), started the Buckley Prime Service Area (PSA) Pilot. The goal was to study ways to improve access to care, beneficiary and provider satisfaction, and quality of care.

Through the pilot, we offer services to help participants get to the right provider, at the right time, for the right care. Our goal was to help beneficiaries better manage their health care and maintain their health.

  • As anticipated, the Buckley PSA Pilot will end Dec. 31, 2022.
  • Visit our Frequently Asked Questions page to learn more about this transition.

Thank you for being a part of our pilot! Lessons learned will help drive the future of TRICARE.

Pilot Eligibility

There is no beneficiary enrollment or action required, and the TRICARE benefit remains the same. Beneficiaries who live in the Buckley PSA, are enrolled in TRICARE Prime and have a civilian primary care manager are automatically part of the pilot.

HNFS’ concierge-type customer service helps pilot participants get to the right provider, at the right time, for the right care.

This includes:

  • help with locating providers and scheduling appointments
  • reminders about preventive care
  • chronic care education and support
