Due to high winds and elevated wildfire dangers, many areas in California are experiencing power outages in order to reduce fire risks. Companies such as Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (PG&E) and San Diego Gas & Electric (SDGE) indicate the Public Safety Power Shutoff could impact nearly 800,000 customers across 50 counties this week.
Additionally, there are several active wildfires across the Southern California area, specifically in Sandalwood, Saddleridge and Moreno Valley. Find current disaster information and resources at www.tricare.mil/disaster and on our Disaster Resources page.
We encourage beneficiaries in California to contact your provider(s) to confirm appointments and/or scheduled procedures prior to arriving.
