On. Jan. 1, 2021, Health Net Federal Services, LLC (HNFS), partnering with the Defense Health Agency (DHA), started the Buckley Prime Service Area (PSA) Pilot. The goal was to study ways to improve access to care, beneficiary and provider satisfaction, and quality of care.

Through the pilot, we offer services to help participants get to the right provider, at the right time, for the right care. Our goal was to help you better manage your health care and maintain your health.

  • As anticipated, the Buckley PSA Pilot will end Dec. 31, 2022.
  • Visit our Frequently Asked Questions page to learn more about this transition.

Thank you for being a part of our pilot! Lessons learned will help drive the future of TRICARE.

Pilot Eligibility

If you live in the Buckley PSA, are enrolled in TRICARE Prime and have a civilian primary care manager, you are automatically part of the pilot. The TRICARE benefit under the pilot remains the same and you will continue to use the same TRICARE West Region customer service line and online self-service tools.

What is different is how HNFS works with you and your providers to help keep you healthy. HNFS also offers concierge-type customer service to help you get to the right provider, at the right time, for the right care.

This includes:

  • help with locating providers and scheduling appointments
  • reminders about past-due care
  • chronic care education and support

Don't delay – update DEERS today. It's critical your information in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) is up to date so you and your family can use TRICARE and we can properly identify you as pilot-eligible. Check and make sure your DEERS information is correct. Log in to milConnect today.
