ABA Maximum Allowed Rates Effective May 1, 2024

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) recently posted updated applied behavior analysis (ABA) rates on the ABA Maximum Allowed Amounts page of the Military Health Services' website. These rates, which DHA updates annually, are effective for dates of service on or after May 1, 2024.

As a reminder, the balance billing provision for non‐network providers does not apply to ABA rates.

TRICARE-authorized providers agree to accept the TRICARE-allowable charge, minus applicable beneficiary copayments, cost‐shares and deductibles, as payment in full.

Note: As of June 1, 2023, rates for Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) codes 99366 and 99368 are available on the Procedure Pricing page of www.health.mil.
